This series draws on Jean-Paul Sartre’s idea of the gaze — the notion that we become aware of ourselves through the eyes of others. Identity is not fixed; it forms in the space between the self and the one who looks back.

Invisibles is a series of double exposure portraits that explores the complexity behind identity and what it means to be seen. It invites the viewer to look without preconceptions. To simply observe quietly among the chaos, the differences, the light, and the shadows.
